The Nu chapter (#13) was installed at Long Island University on February 11, 1949. LIU Director of Bands and Kappa Kappa Psi District X Governor Raymond Shannon served as the installing officer. Charter members include: Sybil Bailen, Natalie Baker, Gertrude Baker, Myra Bleifeld, Mary Lou Cascardo, Frances Centrowitz, Mildred Henriques, Adele Nissenfeld, Shirley Rabinowitz, Marily Saccharow, Catherine Schrag, Raymond Shannon, and Joan Swett.
