The Beta Beta chapter (#50) was installed at New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts on April 21, 1956. Tau Beta Sigma National 2nd Vice President Paula Cox Reed served as installing officer. Charter members include: Barbara Rogers, Geraldine Joyce Shipley, Pauline L. Roseberry, Virginia Lee Frost, Patricia Ann Mountain, Jane F. Pittman, Elizabeth D. Sheckles, Miriam E. Tompkins, Mrs. Roman Tross, and Roman Tross.
