The Eta Iota chapter (#177) was installed at Delaware State College on September 8, 1985. Epsilon Omega and Zeta Upsilon served as advising chapters, and Zeta Upsilon performed Ritual and installation ceremony. Charter members include: Terri Ballard, Nerphrita Black, Dorothy Black, Kendall Lyons, Sandra McCutchin, Regina Paige, Thelma Smith, Margaret Steele, Cynthia Suggs, and Monique Upshur.
